There are not many people that do not have baking soda in their home – it can be used for various purposes, and the best thing about it is its price – baking soda is super-cheap! But, did you know that it can help you look better?
Here is how.

Deodorant

Mix some baking soda and water to get a moist paste. Apply the mixture on your armpits as a deodorant – it has the same effect as the regular deodorant you use, it only has a neutral smell. Baking soda prevents unpleasant odors and sweat stains on the clothes.

Deep Cleansing Shampoo

From time to time you should wash the hair with a deep cleansing shampoo to eliminate all the remains of styling products. Add some baking soda in your shampoo and use it as usual – you will get a great deep cleansing shampoo.

Teeth Whitening

Mix a tablespoon of baking soda and 5 drops of hydrogen peroxide. Add enough water to get a smooth paste. Apply the paste equally on your teeth using a toothbrush and let it for five minutes.

Then wash your teeth with your regular toothpaste and rinse. To obtain the best results, repeat the procedure once a week. If you are not satisfied with the results, you can leave the mixture for ten minutes, but not longer, because your teeth could whiten unevenly.

Peeling

Baking soda is an excellent natural peeling for your skin . Mix it with some water and apply the mixture on your face as you do with your regular peeling. In this way you will remove any dead skin and other dirt immediately and efficiently.

It is recommended to use this homemade peeling twice a week. After the treatment use your regular hydrating cream.

Detox Bath

If you need a detox bath, use baking soda. Mix it with equal amount of sea salt and few drops of your favorite essential oil (lavender and jasmine have amazing calming effect). Repeat this treatment twice a week. Do not forget to apply some body milk after the shower.

Dry Shampoo

If you have finished your dry shampoo, baking soda can really help you. Apply it on your hair same as you do with the regular dry shampoo (always have on mind that the amount you should use depends on how greasy your hair is.)
